As people have been working for a living in pretty much every period of time and not just necessarily in offices, our range of items here is equally diverse (and we’re still cataloguing)- and there’s probably a fair amount of overlap with other collections such as laptops in AUDIO/VIDEO/ TV, or briefcases in CASES / TRUNKS/ BAGS. In this category we’ve tried to group together those objects which have a functional purpose (ie not primarily ornamental).

We have various inkstands and pots for period desks, with a range of supply options if you need functionality here (any quills supplied are able to be used practically-but you’ll need to cut and prepare ink). Assuming that the getting hold of contemporary office supplies is hardly going to challenge a stage manager(!), we have grouped a few items here according to colour- files and folders- which we have found can be a quick way to pull together the visuals for routine stuff in office spaces.
